Carrey expressed his fatigue with the industry and his strong desire to step away and take a break from the spotlight of the entertainment industry.

Carrey emphasised that his decision to step down was not simply to get out of the corporate-controlled environment of the industry. For him, this shift in focus was about pursuing a different form of creative expression, specifically through painting. Here, he found a form of entertainment that provided unlimited freedom and control, a stark contrast to the pressures of showbiz. Carrey highlights that in painting, there is no longer a need to fulfil the expectations of judges or audiences, allowing his creativity to flow without restriction.


"Back in a different way," Carrey insists. Earnestly, he emphasizes that he is not bound by any particular commitment or project that ties him to his return to showbiz.

It seems that Carrey has found a new passion and purpose outside of acting, venturing into painting and artistic expression. While his presence may now be missed by his loyal fans, it is clear that Carrey's step back from the industry is driven by a desire for personal fulfillment and unlimited creative freedom.
