In the past, Stallone was an actor who faced hardships in all aspects. At one point, he was so financially strapped that he had to steal his wife's jewellery to sell. Things hit rock bottom, leaving him homeless. In fact, he was forced to sleep in a New York bus station for 3 days without the ability to pay rent or buy food. The worst point came when he tried to sell his dog to a stranger at a liquor store because he had no money to feed it. Heartbroken, she sold him for just $25 and left in tears.

However, courage came through a boxing match between Mohammed Ali and Chuck Wepner which gave him the inspiration to write the famous script, ROCKY. Within 20 hours, the script was created. When he tried to sell it, an offer of $125,000 came in. However, he had one big request: he wanted to star in the film as the MAIN ACTOR, Rocky. However, the studio turned him down because they wanted a well-known star. Even though the offer was raised to $350,000, he still insisted. Finally, the studio agreed and let him be the main star. The rest is history! The film won many awards including the prestigious Oscar. Stallone was even nominated for BEST ACTOR!

His story teaches that one's abilities are often not realised by others. He showed how important it is to fight for your dreams even if you have to sell everything or sleep with dogs. His story inspires us: as long as there is life, our story is not over. Keep fighting, keep your dreams alive and your hopes burning. Never give up!
